You'll Crack Your Head Open!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Blogville.  I haven’t had time to read any blogs or keep up with writing one.  Last September, an online friend gave me my first web writing job and I’ve been working ever since.  Other than desperately needing every penny I made, it’s been one of the best experiences of my life.

I’m taking a short break from writing this month in order to learn more about the business of web writing.  I’m learning how to market my work myself rather than subcontracting for other people.  I have to admit I’m a little bit burnt out, but at the same time I’m really looking forward to this next phase of my web writing career.

I’ve also been getting back into reading blogs.  I’ve missed being in touch with other moms and reading about their lives.  I’ve missed the laughing, the crying and the comiserating.  I’ve missed the blog carnivals and the trackbacks.  I’ve really missed Works For Me Wednesday.  I’m not sure if I’ll have anything helpful to offer on Wednesday, but I’ll definitely be reading everyone else’s helpful posts.
